Everyone knows that this is not a first time. In past Google tried purple or pinkish colors in their ads campaign. In 2010 the month of July, on that time Google tested a pale purple color as a background image.
Nowadays, Google Adwords backgrounds colors are yellow, but in below images you can see that what this off-pink color looks compared to the yellow.
